What is the ICANN Fee?

ICANN stands for Internet Corporation of Assigned Names and Numbers, and is the organization that accredits and regulates registrars (such as GKG.NET).

All accredited registrars, including GKG.NET must pay a fee (currently $0.20 USD) to ICANN for every year a domain name is registered or renewed.

GKG.NET, INC. has worked very hard to provide our domains at a tremendous price and with terrific customer service. However, in order to continue doing so, we must pass this fee onto our customers.

If you have any comments regarding this fee, please direct them to ICANN (www.icann.org). The ICANN Fee applies to .com, .net, .org, .info, and .name.
